On a long shot, I rang the owner of a B+B located next to the Stockton load out facility in Ngakawau. She informed me; that at least 5 trains a day are leaving for Lyttelton loaded with coal, That BT mining were also going to mine granite from the seams adjacent to the coal seams, that the locals were very positive with BRL management.
There must be a large stock pile accumulating at Lyttelton.
Couldn't resist so bought more.
