I have relatives in Westport
There is still some skepticism about as far as employment opportunities are concerned.
Many of the locals have been stung by the closing of the Cement Works and worries over
the future of coal, plus whether the future of coal for the long term is to be replaced by
other power sources. The reliability of the Chinese market, along with fluctuating coal
prices, has a lot to do with attitudes.
By the way, i am still in there and accumulating when prices suit
I have relatives in Westport There is still some skepticism...
