This update looks to indicate that Cortical was not able to raise any money using Enable Funding as BPH said that it would as part of its company updates last year.

Looks as though Cortical is now going to try another way to raise money so it doesn't have to keep borrowing money from BPH.

At 30 June 2018, the loan from BPH to Cortical was $2,708,488 as per the Cortical Annual report and more money was lent by BPH to Cortical in subsequent periods as per the BPH Appendix 4C's. Interest is also piling up at 8.14% on one loan and at 9.14% on the other one (as per the Cortical Annual report).

I would be looking very closely at how all of this was going to be dealt with (along with any other entitlements) before considering any investment in Cortical, IPO or otherwise.
