From what I can see the department, with no funding to rehabilitate the site, is using the leverage of the site not being operational to have the company pay for the rehabilitation of the site. I'm sure the Government hoped the company would seek some kind of financing (perhaps a CR) so shareholders had to punt up the dough.
The company has encouraged shareholders to email the minister at : [email protected] . I will certainly be giving those hopeless losers a mouthful. The federal election showed we're sick of this sacrifice of society of imagined environmental concerns. Especially when the environment around the site has been left to its own devices since in Government care. Apparently this gets heard in October so the familiar waiting game for this stock.
Silver through the roof and the place has to sit idle.
