Is anyone actually surprised?
I would guess there was no JV negotiations in the first place and LRS were just desperately trying to scrape something together to salvage the SP after consolidation. With no permits, no resource and no cash they are hardly in a position to turn down JV partners.
This CO led by CG have misled holders and investors for too long.
I feel sorry for anyone still holding.
