It's a liquidity crisis. Everyone need cash badly. Gold is non essential at this point. Cash can get you essential goods. Cash can buy overbeaten stocks. Cash is king. That's why gold was sold hard this week. The liquidity is so dry that the Fed wants to pump $1.5 trillion into the credit market.
