they know the first MB chip didnt work. Instead of coming out and saying that straight out and risking the share price to go to 2 cents - they are trying to soften it by saying what they have in today's announcement - It is classic PR spin - However in reality they are basically going back to square one with non MB chip and doing a new recipe for the previous chip to see if that will work with MB chip
it is as plain and simple as that but they are trying to cover that up in announcement with an attempt at positive spin.
Similar thing to what they did when they glossed over one of the 4 main parameters for success in original lab chip - when they said it was "sufficient" - it was one of 4 important factors that made the chip better than anything else out there - and to progress to the next stage they glossed over it in one of the announcemnets and suddenly there was no performance guideline required to be met any more in regard to that target. May have been data retention figure or one of the other 4 targets

This company is sounding more like Theranos every day - documentary was on TV last night about that woman who created a company based on a pin prick of blood being required from the patient and then their holy grail device would do over 200 blood tests on it in a little magic box.
She sucked in some of the smartest men in the world, both to get involved in the company and to invest big money.
She raised 1 billion dollars, company was publicly listed and worth 10 billion at one stage.
All went to 0. Everyone fleeced and lost their money. Repuations damaged - Murdoch, George Schultz and many other high profile figures that should have known better and done due diligence.
Box was a scam
whole thing was a scam - never existed
She is probably the best con-woman in history
