For a company that does not say very much in its announcements other than bare facts, this reads very well. Its what it doesn't say that is most intriguing. WD clearly heavily involved in pushing for additional chips, "specific input in process conditions", have a distinct need/interest in mind and wanted to see what the results would be if chips were processed differently.

WD's industry weight probably got the time slot for 4DS with IMEC. There is no doubt in my mind that its WD that will be buying us up eventually.
