One thing, though:
25 Feb: A dividend is declared
11 Mar: The stock trades ex- the entitlement to that dividend
20 Mar: They defer the payment date of dividend (citing C-19 related uncertainties, so fair enough)
29 May: They cancel the dividend entirely
How does that work?
In all my years of investing, I'm not encountered such a development.
Can anyone shed light on the protocols/rules around this?
