First time poster here as I usually sit back and read the posts, predominately in the HIO threads.

I generally only trade TA and only been doing so for a couple of years so very much new to trading. I bought HIO using TA indicators and upon sending weeks and many late nights researching the company and IO I decided this is one stock that I would keep in my account for many years to come.

Reason I am posting is I am struggling to grasp why you would invest $240k into a company and a sector you know so little about. your quote asking "Is the 400Mt how much Iron is in the ground and the 20Mtpa is how much we take out of the ground each year?" shows this.

Not sure what sort of trader/investor you are but scaling up to that size will put a lot of stress on yourself.
