Well, what a balls up.
Not much sun today to work on one's tan.
I am yet to sell any, but may do so in the near future.
What I do see, is there was a-lot of expectation from management and Imec that they have passed the final hiccup.
Now the root cause is the issue at hand.
What now has to happen, is the brains trust need to sit together and work this out. Part via continuing testing and part by talking this through.
Did the etch mask fix PL2, but something else arose with PCMO wafers on PL3. Otherwise PL2 is still a great option.
Anything can be fixed and made to work. It comes down to money and time.
I suspect we will receive an update after further talks and testing.
Speaking with some IT architects, many a times, the system has failed dismally, with no solution in sight. After the brain storming season, generally, simple solutions arise and the hurdle is lowered and not so Armageddon.
I am choosing to wait for the updated root cause analysis, before i sell part of my holdings.
Feeling gutted this morning, and the tyre kickers putting their non held opinions forward is a sign of intellect, beyond my comprehension.
A bargain exists for firms with knowledge and experience, whom may be interested in the IP, going forward.
Not many out there with Dram like speed. They could read speed, but retention and endurance went backwards from PL2.
So, lets see what they find out.
