I had previously posted about whether IMEC does any functional testing before giving the all clear, if I take the statement above at face value then it suggests that IMEC do not perform testing that would identify etch problems.. so they only check that manufacturing was successful however that may be, without functional testing. Still a little frustrating if that's the case but that's how I'm interpreting it.
