Agree with your sentiment on this one unfortunately due to circumstances that could have been foreseen months ago, that is the predicament. Any mass scale out will be costly, it also needs willing participants and at present they are not showing up on the balance sheets or customer register…. $4m won’t cut the mustard look at balance sheet stock on hand vs expenses to make the stock….$4m won’t make viable dent….those in the drivers seat seem to think they have it covered but realistically if a major wants several million chips tomorrow can they produce them…unlikely….And it will be several million chips on a recurring basis needed to make this cash flow positive…in summary it appears to be a pretty good well designed product, provided it can be made at scale without defects, but yet to be seen if it’s actually needed at scale or if existing processes justify a need to transition.
Good luck to you all it’s on a knife edge and sometimes the blade cuts and sometimes you get the blunt edge. I hope you get the blunt edge of the blade on this occasion..
