It seems quite a few ppl here who have shares in NIC have never seen or been involved in an on-market buy-back. As GDKid has pointed out the SP was much lower when they 1st made the announcement. If the SP slides to 60 cents, I have no doubt that they will buy-back shares. Even then, they may never spend $100mil. They are under no obligation watsoever to buy-back a single share, and if they do start buying, they are under no obligation to spend $100mil. And they wont be buying millions at a time.
Funding the dividend will come before any single buy-back dollar is spent.
The Company flagged its intention to conduct a Buyback of up to US$100M as part of its updated capital management
framework announced in January this year. As previously advised, the timing and number of shares purchased
under the on-market share buyback will be contingent upon the prevailing share price, market conditions and
trading blackout restrictions.
