Quite correct Paratoo. I got howled down on this board a couple of years ago for sharing my own Saudi experience about the impossibility of "an infidel company winning any case against a true-believer company in the medieval courts of Sandland". The entire deck of cards is stacked against foreigners in Sandland.
As for stamping out corruption: all the current regime will do is transfer the cash from the previous corrupt group to their new group of equally corrupt mates. It's been that way throughout Sandland's history. It's in their genetic make up.
