Last year Otto Buttula retired from the board as late as the AGM , or such a mutually agreed , earlier time . Once either board renewal and an adequate handover , or a potential take over can be completed . The company remains in discussions with it advisors regarding attracting a new cornerstone shareholder , or full takeover.
Brian Leedman also retired from the board last year . He was a co- founder of Resapp ( RAP ) and did say they would never make any money but would still be acquired ( taken over ) which it was. The current Oncosil leadership team still consist of expertise from Sirtex which was taken over for $1.9 billion and Telix Pharmaceuticals TLX , around a $ 7 billion market cap. Brian Leedman has also mentioned that , You can only have a blockbuster product if a big pharma is selling it and mentioned Sirtex as a comparison and that is the ultimate outcome for Oncosil.
