    What you put forward is the greatest "con" perpetrated on retail holders by listed entities
    constantly.

    The usual BS announcement "like to welcome new insto and sophs blah blah" from the entity after the raise, which only ever profits brokers and "mates", then watch as they smash the price down as they disappear with the wealth transferred to them.

    The law should be amended to require all raises to be offered to existing holders FIRST.
