I don't recall seeing "lithium-ion battery participants" either - perhaps they are cutting out the middle company such as Mitsubishi Chem, POSCO, etc who are large anode manufacturers outside of China.

Going straight to LiB makers like LG Chem, Panasonic, SK, etc might help expedite a BOA directly between supplier & end manufacturer which hopefully leads to a better price for both parties.
