Great to see the w@nker posts coming in from the peanut gallery.

Has anyone else here been watching the price all morning? I'm sure as hell happy to see a resistance building at 1.7c with news such as was delivered over the weekend.

I think people who aren't from the state of QLD need a bit of a lesson in how things are up here.

1. QLD / Brisbane is always going to be seen as a 'rural city'. There is too much history between the farmers, cattle runners and everyone else in between to allow for people like Cougar to flourish. Why? A scapegoat was needed, we don't need to go over old ground on this one. Facts are facts.

2. QLD is corrupt. It always has been and it always will be. This is not a 'conspiracy theory' of the highest order, it is a well known fact about the running of State Politics. Even as now, Gordon Nuttal had his time in parliament the other month to state his case, I will bet you BOTH of my testicles Peter Beattie and therefore Anna Bligh knew EXACTLY what was going on.... it is also a shame, not convenient, that Ken Talbot is no longer here to defend himself and his friend Gordon.

3. Kate Jones, who in my opinion was probably pretty hot when she was younger, has stepped aside from her portfolio as Environment Minister. Why would an attractive, self motivated young lady drop not only her portfolio but $100K a year in her pay grade? Because, both she and the incompetent current QLD Government, realise that there is a very, very serious threat to the seat of Ashgrove from none other than a PROVEN performer of Campbell Newman. Having spent 7 years in an Infantry Battalion I can assure all of you good people now, that an ex-military officer and a Combat Engineer at that, is shaking Labour to their core and they are, without doubt pooing themselves as we speak. Hell, they can't even pay their health staff properly.

4. Bob Irwin. Seriously what the??? Perhaps now a three horse race, in which Labour realise that the Green vote garners more swing from the Labour faction than it would us sensible Liberal lovers. Haha, seriously, poor Bob should stick to what he does best, whatever that is.

5. PUBLICITY PEOPLE. We all know the facts. Anyone in here with half a brain and an understanding of a good verbal argument will realise that there is no smoking gun in this case. The fines and the charges will never stick, and they certainly will not fall (if at all) until there is a new Government in QLD i.e after the next election. It takes 18 months to get a building approval, do you think the courts are going to fall over themselves to get this in front of a judge? This is nothing more than a stunt from Bligh to show that she is serious about protecting the environment from the MASSIVE THREAT that UCG poses. Does anyone else think the timing is a little smelly, seeing that Acrow Energy and Queensland Gas (CSG) have just bought upwards of 140,000 hectares of farming land around Chinchilla and Roma?? OH MY GOD, please, a retard could see what is going on here.

6. FINALLY. I noticed one of the other posters copping a hard time for saying that this is a long term stock and not to expect anything out of this for a good few years. I have always held that sentiment and totally agree. Everyone, for all of your opinions, I respect them, BUT. Please remember rule number of accounting and business. WHY DO YOU GO INTO BUSINESS??? TO MAKE MONEY. CXY can reach the dizzy heights, I am totally convinced of that, that is why the price and the volatility does not faze me. In fact, seeing the base building this morning, I am more than convinced that people out there a lot smarter than I am (only just though, seriously I am awesome) share the same sentiment. HOWEVER, CXY needs to get its foot further through the door and start kicking the shite of the energy sector like we all know it can, and get this SP moving towards $1.00 over the next 5 - 7 years and make us all very wealthy.

Either accept that for what it is, be patient, or yes as investor2009 with all of his infinite wisdom says SELL SELL SELL. Which is great because I can BUY BUY BUY.
