Watched with interest since a first investment about a month ago. This is firstly very exciting for sufferers and hopefully Mr Hopper and Ms Chong IMU see value in a research partnership. Yes it might be a short term takeover target for IMU as some have speculated but somehow I think that IMU is so committed on its own pipeline. The only negative from a commercial perspective is that the treatment rights for IVX are for Australia NZ under licence. So that will mean that anyone like an IMU will need to negotiate with the licensor for application of any joint enterprise into Asia or elsewhere. So it’s very exciting news as all cancer breakthroughs are amazing but now to translate to the human trial stage and this will test the efficacy of the IVX management team. Let’s hope that this sees more non invasive cancer treatments with fewer side effects on patients.
