The HwB website has altered its top 'banner' headline to 'send the gift of wellness with Self Care hampers. Fast premium delivery Aus wide'.

Given 'Mad Mark' McClown's imposition yesterday of an indefinite border closure in Westralia, probably a good move by HwB.

The major self care hamper is reasonably priced at A$70, so with delivery it'll be under A$90, importantly keeping total cost below that $100 barrier existing in many prospective purchasers' minds.

One criticism I'd make of some HwB competitors is that hampers can be often priced above A$100 (though some include 'free' delivery, which HwB explains on its site is a myth).

My hypothesis is many personal shoppers are fairly price sensitive: they're not looking to spend $150 or $200 on a hamper. Some corporate clients at the upper end may be a bit more freespenders, but even there we'd be surprised at how many could be tightwads.

Valentine's Day is above the message in small letters on the HwB site home page as the second option to click on and discover the HwB 'lovers' range'. So this soon to be with us date hasn't been forgotten.
