Peasant retailers can buy at or around the issue price on market anyway. It's expensive to run a retail CR, they crash the share price much harder, and I'm glad they didn't do one. In this scenario we either see the price drop to or below the issue price in which case peasants like you and me get our opportunity, or it doesn't drop to the issue price in which case the share price was protected. A retail CR is an expensive way to guarantee a crash well below the issue price which will probably last a long time.
I'm not pleased about this CR being done, but if it is to be done, I'd prefer it without retail.
