I can't speak for management, but my guess is that they're using this to repay the debt and save on interest, rather than waiting for revenue to gradually cover it. While not a thrilling development this hardly seems like something to be furious about.

Seems pretty simple. I don't think there's any issues of transparency here. The details will be clear in the upcoming financial reports.

Interestingly, the market doesn't seem upset today. It's reacting better than I'd have guessed.
