If you had read the announcement properly, you would know that CPS are buying the shares, it's not a company buyback, so, not cost to GNM...
Honestly, this investment didn't serve you well, for whatever reason, so wouldn't it be better to crystallise your loss and move on?? It has the added benefit of ending the misery you are enduring by hanging on.
Whether GNM ever comes good is speculation, that's why the known shell hunters are appearing here, who all take a different approach to assessing what is happening here
