1)I do NOT believe that the onshore area will be a "good fall-back option". They have looked at the onshore acreage in the past and found that it is not worth persuing (IF my memory serves me correctly - it is a long while back...)
2)Whilst FAR is mentioning drilling of a first well in mid 2013, the ann. by PCL is mentioning a target of 1st quarter 2014?! Of course, FAR is the majority holder of L6 (60%)and hence they can do farm-out/down. But some co-ordination/cooperation with PCL is/will be necessary, as with a 40% share, PCL holding is not small either...
I do not believe that FAR/PCL have the capability to do a drill on their own.
Anyhow, IF MBAWA will come up "with the goods", this will radically change the whole scenario way before a drill will ever go down in L6!
