I think there was but it was more to do with an internal dispute within the family that owned the company rather than with the product itself.

From the information that I get, McArthurs has a good product and consumers that use it get good results.

I am just not confident that they have done a good job penetrating the market and gaining stable market share. Their price point is considerably higher than their competitors. Unless you can sell the product story / benefits very well, then the average consumer could be turned off by the higher price point.
