BrainChip to save costs shared a wafer at TSMC and received about 3000 AKD1000 chips which is what have been validated and installed on boards and sent to customers in November.
Originally the CEO said they were expecting to go to mass production of AKD1000 second half 2021.
This announcement is bringing forward the mass production by a minimum of seven months.
The question you need to ask yourself now is why would you mass produce AKD1000 earlier than originally planned????
My opinion only do your own speculating.
