I don’t much like the $500M “airy fairy” aspirational target with no detail to explain it either. But there is too much focus here on numbers from the present and past, when the investment premise of most of us is what might be the scenario well into the future.

I don’t think the board has to apologise for “destruction of shareholder value” when just a few months ago some of us were rejoicing in a considerable gain. This share price has jumped around for quite a while, in both directions. Sure, it’s currently well down, but no-one HAS to sell and the trend might be suddenly reversed by a single quarterly report or other favourable event. It’s that kind of stock. I don’t think it should be over-analysed at this early stage. We’re speculating, not number crunching…and we know that.
