"They're abandoning Kouri for Kada" – with good reason. There's no way I'm going to cough up the funds to advance all three projects concurrently! So they need either park or offload the lower priority ones while they focus on the prime prospect. At the moment Kada is looking like that. Then the choices are to use revenue from the first operation to (help) fund progress on the others, or to liquidate one or more of the others to fund development of the active projects.
The alternatives are all still in play at present.
