Whatever anyone thinks of the business side of this start up stock they sure know how handle the tech side of it. This program is run with military precision.
Using D-Orbit greatly reduces the time it takes to place all of our Pearls where they need in the constellation to begin some sort of continuous coverage. We all remember the trailing Diamond that was brought into position using drag, a excellent feat but will be totally unnecessary with D-Orbit.
D-Orbit importantly prevents our need for a dedicated nano sat launcher such as Virgin Orbit's Launcher One which still doesn't hasn't completed final testing but is close. So no more piggy backing on the cheapest ride going to space and no more delays post launch.......... tock!
