"The trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company in relation to an acquisition. As per prior ASX announcements, the Company is in the final stages of negotiations on a strategic opportunity in Queensland Australia to acquire a mature mining operation which is currently on care and maintenance."
I'm really intrigued with what operation they are buying that is obviously mature in nature and on care and maintenance. I guess mature is meaning it has infrastructure and all because otherwise why would it be on care and maintenance!
I've been researching long and hard to find a mature operation in Queensland that is on care and maintenance and can only come up with a couple that fit the bill and if it is one of them this stock will rerate hard, many multiples where it is now IMO.
This is a big deal for the company, it has a new CEO who is very experienced, it has had a full restructure and its books are looking real good.
