Could also be buying on market, after all the few years of salary he's had doing very little really.
Sell a good story, raise at discounts and dilute retail shareholders, and give yourselves good salaries till the story ends.
Not saying this is the case but happens alot with juniors and only a small percentage last. But a big show of confidence from directors putting there own money where there mouth is.
