we shouldn’t look too much into the PXRF readings re what will be the final lab results Only a guideline, and for choosing what core goes in for assay.
And, WMG have been using those readings to give the SH an update, but have always reminded us that the XRF is only a guide.
The XRF only penetrates a few mm into the core, and they are only taking readings ‘if I remember correctly about 2 per meter. And I don’t think they, or shouldn’t ‘cherry pick’ the best looking spot. This would give an unrealistic result. And I would say they’re integrity is above that.
So all we know from those readings is we are in the zone. And just have to wait for the lab results.
