Long time no speak. I've hardly been around the last couple of months. Only just caught up with this news. A bit disappointing but I'm not surprised. My personal opinion as put before is that the safest assumption from all the drilling to date is that Mt Gunson contains satellite deposits not whales and that we should value the company under the premise that Xstrata will not continue drilling.

The real issue for GUN is Coburn. This is a company making project if they can get it financed which DH just does not seem to be able to do. I'm starting to wonder if he's the right man for that particular job. He is a good person and has been excellent in running the company on an oily rag for the shareholders but it seems to me that he is not a salesman and can't close a deal - it's probably time to hire someone to do that particular job.

I'm actually not holding at the moment after selling for a property project late last year but am getting ready to buy some back as I still think they are a long term buy and am tempted at this price. Firstly though is anyone aware how much cash GUN would have at present? This could dictate whether it is going to hit the 7c low of Sep 2009.
