agree, I think it’s good time to sell if retail investors still hold it. The company and their broker partner may hold the sp to attract retail investors to take the offer.
for the long term, hard to say. Appen is not an ai company, however here is still good business exist. Dig and mark the data is kind like a labor hard job, also some technical and platform is required.
in China stock market, there is a company called Hai Tian Sheng Rui, absolutely same business with Appen but 100% not as good as Appen, the market value is around 1.5b AUD now. Appen is keep doing business in China and looks they done pretty good job there.
personally I would like to say do not buy at this stage, however worth to keep watching.
