It won't especially surprise if in time RIC finds another acquisition.
Having just missed out on one as underbidder could be a Godsend, as it may be humbling, and good in the sense that it didn't see RIC have a rush of blood and overpay.
We can be certain it won't be M&A activity in a 'sexy' subsector that excites media, but it'll be a decidedly unfashionable or basic industry player. Given the track record, it'll be accretive from early on under new RIC ownership.
