Melindax71, raised the rig query and Namibia's prospects in general with Woodside's investor relations and received a prompt response.
In regards to the latter, "In Namibia, Woodside has the option to be an early mover in a potentially advanced basin that includes some recent material discoveries. This option is part of our strategy to develop quality through choice as we build our exploration portfolio."
As for drill rigs, "our drilling and supply teams stay abreast of the rig markets and work with vendors to understand lead times and optimise rig contracting across our portfolio."
