They sure do, NL. There's no underestimating the importance of it. In fact BEM has put its Maniry graphite through the rigors of
two pilot plant tests - for Stage 1 and the most recent for Stage 2.
Our graphite has been thoroughly Met tested and proven to contain no deleterious contaminants. It's quality and suitability for ALL applications has been proven numerous times over the years by international engineers!
One very interesting fact that I came across recently (and I've been trying to find the reference) is that whilst Europe (Scandanavia aside) has an abundance of graphite, it lacks the structure/characteristics suitable for battery anodes! Our graphite is certified for battery anodes, steel manufacture, expandable/fire-retardants, foils, premium gaskets, nuclear... the full gamut. Can't wait for the results from Urbix. My gut and knowledge of other Mada graphite tests tells me that it'll qualify for aerospace stuff too!
Ahhh... good to see you holding BEM. I shouldn't be at all surprised! It seems that a lot of smart graphite fans are... but are choosing to keep quiet about it. Why the secrecy, NL?
