There is a very interesting read over on the gold thread started by johnno about why spec companies fail and the rate of failure. They also comment about goldies that start up to mine level and fail.

Gryphon appear to have top management with their heads screwed on and they have a big resource which is growing.

Is this the bottom? I don't know. If the market picks up a bit and the price of gold continues it's upward path we should see Gryphon move off again.

Gryphon is a good chunk of my holdings. Am looking around for another Gryphon style company.
