I think the long termers here are most upset at the fact that they had (falsely) assumed Brent would embody Luisia's ethical attitude and financial prudence. There are not many listed companies that are managed with such concern for shareholder wealth (even fewer now). It has been made it pretty clear that this company is no longer exceptional in that regard. So we will have to re-align our assumptions/strategies going into the future.

Perhaps you can make a case for the other directors but the self-entitlement on display by Brent to shove his face in the trough 3 months in is repugnant. It isn't particularly unusual but it just wouldn't have happened at this company previously. Never seen a company work so hard to reduce their share price.

Hopefully after 18th Jan (Vote No) when all the self-interest has been served and everyone has had an opportunity to buy cheap on market then there will be no where else for the SP to go but up.
