I suggest fellow shareholders write to the company to express your views on what transpired. We can be respectful but very very frank. The more mails reaching these guys, the more chances they would recognise the folly of this CR. Backup your points properly and state your intentions of voting Y or N for the second tranche. If you've lodged a complaint with ASIC, it's also desirable to state it, but it's your decision to do so. The important thing is that we let them know what we think.
