Results of scoping study from Trident must be coming in real good otherwise why would company overpromise on production timeline? Operator previous to Barrick, Resolute I think, fully permitted trident and put in the decline which is illustrated in the diagram of Trident deposit. My understanding is that Resolute forced to abandon Trident because of massive water inflow into decline contributing to poor ground conditions...so historically Trident rhyme with la platosa mine in durago. If Trident water issue easily solved with bigger pumps for dewatering or more suitable mine method then why didn't homestake or Barrick mine Trident and run the high grade muck through plutonic twenty years ago?
