it was very short notice to raise such a large amount , most people wouldnt have had spare cash to participate.
also -they prob. had to bid 1-150m more than they wanted so anglo didnt take up the offer...
lets say we offered 100m less and anglo took up the offer - holders would have been angry & whinging why we didnt pay more ???
im of the opinion that RRL knew where the line in the sand was ??? probably via a friendly beer with anglo bosses ???
