The raise was a success! HUGE! $30m raised for MVP.
Unfortunately for Bell Potter, the underwriters, they are ~20m in the hole because the take up was only 21%.
I noticed comments previously encouraging people to take up the offer rather than buy on the market for a ~12% discount, but clearly that didn't factor in the Bell Potter underwriting for up to $30m. So regardless, the company gets the cash. The issue however is that Bell Potter will be seeking to sell their shares in the short to medium term, which will continue to put downward pressure on the stock price.
