    tried to get a friend to give it a go . They had a very small parcel of $1k and paid $1k towards offer.

    16k shares (eg $1k worth)
    29k now

    so for a very small holding got first 1/8 $125 worth then I reckon 75 percent or more of the extra asked for. Not quite the full $1k .
