In my opinion, averaging down to get a lower breakeven, with the intention of selling out then, is not a good plan. Better to allocate the new capital elsewhere.
However, I took up my offer and think it is good value here. My average is also higher (about 1.50) but I hold these in my super account and am happy to hold them for 5-10 years, or longer hopefully. There will be ups and downs along the way, but I am patient.
