Don't forget the offer only closed at 5pm Monday. Retail shareholders haven't even been allocated with the shares yet so unless they risk pre-selling from their existing portfolio for a razor thin margin, any sell-off activity is yet to come. Also, as the offer was about 35% to institutions, a large chunk of the pool is to Retail shareholders yet to be allocated.
Don't get me wrong, I think SSM's Lendlease purchase is a positive move & a strategic fit and hopefully, a upwards movement for our shareprice.
