It doesn’t work like that Luke, it states in the offer the closing date and not first in best dressed. They would leave themselves open to litigation otherwise.
Based on the scale-back I think (hope) best case would be 3,500 shares for someone that deposited $30k, and then there is the prorata part to keep it honest as well.
