That despite another excellent informative ann - there is no way AHK's management can be criticised for lack of timely information.

I wonder how many have done some 'back of envelope' sums about the value of the REE concentrate which could be mined from the stage 1 area alone?

Say 1.4 sq km x 12 metres deep x 0.55 % grade x (say 5 tonnes/cubic m) = 462,000 tonnes of monazite - and that is just 3% of the total prospective area.

See the link below for comment on Iluka's monazite pit - worth $1.3 billion - and for which Australian taxpayers have lent a billion to build a refinery. The difference is that monazite was a by-product for Iluka, but is the main product for ARK, with the heavy minerals the by product.

"The Eneabba monazite stockpile, managed by Iluka Resources, physically presents as a fine-grained sand. It is approximately **300m in length**, **150m wide**, and varies from **1 to 15m in thickness."

Another 'back of envelope' calculation for Iluka : 300 x 150 x (say 10 m thick) x 5 = 2.25 million tonnes - assumed grade is 100% monazite. Worth $1,3 billion to Iluka, which is capped at $2.93 billion.

Interesting eh - but only rough calcs. for our little ARK, capped at $9.99 mill.
