There must be a method to this madness…
Why clean up the registry? I can think of a few reasons:
- deliberately crashing the SP to make Eric’s successor like really good when he starts on Monday and the SP soars back under his watch. Only joking
- preparation for a t/o. Surely the board wouldn’t contemplate accepting any lo-ball offer at this stage in the cycle, we have to at least appraise/test Rafa before even opening the letters clogging up the postbox?
- or…. my hope is something I’ve advocated for a few times: a share consolidation (ie reverse stock split) eg 10:1 so we are no longer perceived as a penny stock. Actually it better be more like 13:1 if the new Chair doesn’t get us back to double digits in his first week.
